In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, tied it to a rope in an art gallery, and starved it to death. For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionlessly the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, titled "Eres lo que lees" until he eventually died. The dog was named 'Nativity'. Guillermo now justifies his cruelty as a portrayal of the suffering of street dogs.
Does it look like art to you?
It doesn't end here. The prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' was so artistic that it required a repetition. Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel installation for the biennial of 2008.
Please take a minute to change the life of an innocent dog that is forced to participate in its death by people who view such cruelty as "art".
It's free of charge, there is no need to register, and it can be completely anonymous.
Please spread the words- the accumulation of signatures may successfully stop this exhibit at the Biennial Centroamericana Honduras 2008.

Rusty has a new furcut and a new friend. =) He 'wears' his new haircut and his new friend almost everywhere-pictures don't lie. He's so totally adorable and lovable and he finally conquered the steepy stairs @ Alex's house. He can finally be at any corner of the house without any help. Well, maybe sometimes he still needs alittle encouragement when he's stucked in the middle flights. Still, he's my little boy.=)
The fur is alittle too short. Still, let's wait for his Mohawk to be 'fully growth'
