War ON!!!
Yesterday, a group of 10 went to
Msia and battle it out.(Via paintball)
Haha.
We can totally spot rivalry especially b/w Andy and
BingYao. Bing
Yao proved himself as the Ultimate Enemy of all. He left with a record of seven Ultimate
bruises(ouch!!)
Luckily, I escaped the day with only one minor bruise.
Heez. Secretly hiding behind the inflatable pillar most of the time.
Ultimately, It was fun hiding behind the pillar. =)
Anyway, we went for some seafood action behind City Square which.... was alittle disappointing. The service there was bad. You have to buy 10 person's serving if you are gonna occupy the seats in front of a particular stall. It was pretty irritating that they kinda force us to buy their food. Fortunately, we found enough seats in front of a drink stall.. Heez. Where 10 person's serving wasn't a problem now. =)
Back to the food, The Char Kway Teow smells great but taste wise... Hmm... Tooooooooo salty. Its not even sweet at all. The worse thing was, we ordered 8plates of Char Kway Teow. Miserable to the max. Luckily, the stingray was cheap and yummy.. Heez.
We ended the day with 7 different kind of cakes from sweet recipe. Sinful

Hi people!!! I am back! From my 5 days 4 nights trip to Taiwan(mostly Taipei though).Day 1: -Reached Changi Airport @ 11am
-Did all the last min preparations before leaving.
(book hotel, currency exchange and other stuff)-Leave Singapore for Taipei @ 1pm
-Touch down @ 5.40pm
-Check in Nejiang Hotel @ 8pm
- Head out to Shilin Night Market @ 9pm
(Guess what we eat?!!! 炸鸡排，蚝仔煎，大饼包小饼，大肠包小肠, 爱玉 and Mango Ice)-Leave Shilin @ 12am
-Wash up and sleep @ 1am
Day 2:
-Rise and Shine~ Leave the hotel @ 1pm
(we kinda overslept alittle, supposed to wake up @ 7am)
-Walk around XiMenDing in search of a Hotel for our last night in Taipei
-Found and booked Good Ground Hotel~the few that's not fully booked on Sat
-Left for WuFenPu @ 230pm
-Start shopping @ WuFenPu
(WuFenPu is their wholesale shopping district, somewhat like Bugis Street but bigger, we didn't buy much coz both of us are not in the shopping mood)-Left WuFenPu for the LuRuoFan~Braised Pork Rice opp WuFenPu ~Yummy
-Headed to the Fisherman Wharf~Lover Bridge
( The most beautiful Sunset in Taiwan)-Headed to Beitou for Hotspring after Sunset!!!!!!
-Check in Spring City Resort for a NT 2000 (Slightly less than 100 SGD) room with HotSpring for 2 hours.
Our 1st time to Hotspring so we decided to go for something nice=)-Again, headed to ShiLin Night Market
(We saw a petshop with super duper cute doggies on sale~too bad, photography not allowed)Day 3:
-Checked out @ 530am
-Boarded the bus to Puli @6am
-Reached Puli @ 9am (to change bus)
-Boarded the bus to ChingJing Farm(an hour ride all the way up to the mountain peak)
-Checked in Florance Resort~most recommended resort from sg forum
(Everything in Florance was great, the view, the ambience, the bed, the dinner, the service)~Worth the price for a relaxing night on the mountain.
-Headed to Green Green Grassland-ChingJing main attraction
(where we get to interact with the sheeps and and feed them~ beware of your toes, they are heavy!!! The Sheeps are super cute, they chased us for food.. Haha)-Left Green Green Grassland
(It started to pour just when we left, luckily we brought Umbrella~ that's when Alex and I Strolled in the rain as the cloud float pass us!! Heez)-Back to Florance for a nap
-DinnerTime!!!
( Dinner was awesome, given that it's complimentary)-Relax in the Resort then headed out to Mist Plaza @ 11 plus pm
(~the entertainment hub in ChingJing- 10mins fright night walk from Florance~80% of the journey was dark and scary-at least for me)-Back to Florance
Day 4:
-Took the 12.20pm bus to Puli and then back to Taipei
(Reached Tapei @ 7pm due to Traffic Jam)-Checked in Good Ground Hotel
(10 time worse than NeJiang despite being more expensive~I strongly recommend NeJiang)-Shop around XiMenDing
-Headed out to Shilin Night Market @ 10 plus
-Did the usual shopping thing and cab back to Good Ground @ 2am
-Washed up, Luggage packed @ 4am
Day 5:
-Headed out to Leofoo Village(theme park) @630pm
-Reached Leofoo Village @ 10am
-Left at 130pm (Due to time constraint)
-Back in Taipei @3pm
-Headed out to the Airport @ 4pm
-Leave Taipei @ 6.25pm
-Touch down @ 11pm
Even though our tip wasn't exactly well planned (we planned the night before) but the people, the food, the little funny memories we had made this trip fun and memorable. PS:Pictures will be uploaded another day. =)
