KIRUNA, SWEDENKiruna! One of my favorite city and also the coldest.
For starters, Kiruna is in the Artic circle. We were there for like 4 days 3 nights. The sun rises at 10:30am and set at 11:30am on average. It's ridulous right?! Heez. There's what we get in Kiruna. They have about seven months of winter each year.
Oh wells, Kiruna is a pretty peaceful town with snow piled up to my knee level. Anyway, Our main objective there was to do the Huskies sledding and we did. Super cool, and cold.
Fisrtly, we get to help the doggies into their harness and hold on to them while the guide added more doggies to our sled. It was kinda cute. You can totally heard the dog howling like nobody business especially those in the cage. I guess they wanna be part of the team too.=)
Secondly, we get to ride the sled in pairs, taking turns to control the doggies. Controlling the doggies was pretty easy, combating the coldness was dyingly awful. We were dragged by the doggies at -30 dgree celsius. So cold till Our camera freezed?!! We couldn't take alot of pictures as a result.
Thirly, our bogger were forzen too. Felt alittle digusting though. Heez. Our cheeks were covered with little ice flakes too. All in all, the experience was alittle overpriced and painful but totally worth it.
Finally, after sledding through the cold, we had some warm fish soup-Kiruna style in a warm hut with a fireplace.
