Next stop:
Florence, ItalyFlorence is more of a stopover for us but it was nice in it's own way. Lotsa shopping and Galeto!!!
Florence don't really have that many attractions compared to Rome. As usual, we visited the churches and Duomo. However, one of the most memorable attractions was definitey the statue of David created by Michelangelo. We have to climbed up to the hill top to get a glimpse of the famous David and the the entire Florence.
ALso, Ponte Vecchio the oldest and most famous bridge over the Arno which the only Florentine bridge to survive WW2. The Ponte Vecchio (literally "old bridge") is lined with shops, traditionally mostly jewellers since the days of the Medici. It's like hmm.. the bridge beside Admiralty MRT station, with shops lined up. Only that Ponte Vecchio is probably 20 times bigger and a thousand times more grand.
For me, Florence is more of a shopping town, be it luxury or substandard goods. Oh, I bought my first winter coat in Florence for 120 SGD.=)

I'll upload the rest of the photo to facebook later.
