NexT Stop: Beautiful
VENICEVenice was a really beautiful and peaceful town. MAybe alittle too peaceful at night. Still, the day manage to win me over. Walking through the narrow little lanes, passing by so many souvenir shops, and of course gelato shops.
The little canals passing through the houses were just magnificent I think. I like the way houses are build above water, and LOVE the bridges. No idea. I think I have this thing with crossing mini bridges. It's just so wonderful.
Also, the gondolas were so pretty despite many irritating failure attempts to trick us into. Hmm.. You may wonder why didn't I take the gondola right since I am in one of the most romantic cities with my beloved Alex. Hmm.. I guess just being able to so much time with him alone in foreign land is just as romantic. Besides, the gondolas are just pretty but totally overpriced. 80 euros for an hour.
Finally, I have to mention that the venetian masks are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful. I am so falling in love with them. I can't help but to buy one despite paying alittle more than what I pay for a souvenir. Oh wells, some what more. =) But I have never regret buying it. It's my favourite souvenir ever.
Let me hear you call my name.
