I have recently took part in a racing competition. Yes, a car racing competition. It is a regional competition which consist of contestants from Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore. Like the title suggested, it is organised by Red Bull.
Most people were shocked when they heard that I joined a car racing competition since I haven't shown any interest in racing other than being a F1 Singtel Grid Girl back then.
I have been playing Touch Rugby for the past 8 years. I will still continue to play Touch Rugby but maybe its time to do something?!I wouldnt say I 'LOVE' racing but I guess Red Bull organizing this event
is giving me an opportunity to start a new sport, maybe a new passion or career.
I love to do things in speed, its the adrenaline rush that will get me excited and interested. I believed slowly but surely I will fall in love with this new sport.=)
Anyway, back to the competition. For those who do not know, Red Bull Racing Icon Search has been ongoing for a few years. Only this year, they added in the search for a male driver. And thus, a battle of the sexes competiton. 3 chosen female drivers vs 3 chosen male drivers battling it out at Sepang race circuit.
And I really happy that I got into the next round of selections and is currently standing at the top 15 female rookies=) Next round will be held in Malaysia, 23-24 June 2012. Hopefully things will go well=)
